Here is the address of my favorite rescue organization. F.A.I.R.(Foundation for Animals in Risk) P.O.Box.13722 Tucson, Arizona 85732 Ph.: 520-792-6414 This organization helps animals in need, they provide vet care and help to find new homes for the new born babes that get tossed away.. so sad.. the animals are Gods children too. Little kittens and puppies so tiny that they have to be hand fed so that they grow healthy and strong, then they are put up for adoption when they are older., usually within 6 to 8 weeks. The also care for injured animals, making sure they get the proper medical attention. There are so many good people in our world, who are willing to give their time for our animals.
Humane Society of Southern Arizona 3450 N Kelvin Blvd. Tucson, Arizona 85719 Ph.: 520-327-6088 This organization does so much for our unwanted animals. Dogs and cats may be adopted here. Each person trying to adopt must first be approved by the Society, a good home must be provided with a yard and there is a fee for the adoption because of the neutering, which is a good idea. It is hard to view the kennels, when I go, as I want all the dogs and cats. It is hard for me to understand why these poor animals are there, why are they treated so badly. I guess people do not understand that all babies grow up and then they are not wanted any longer.
Hermitage Cat Shelter PO Box 13508 , Tucson, Arizona Ph. : 520-571-7839 This is a great Shelter dealing with the kitties. and these people are often on the morning news to show the babies that they have for adoption. And I must say that the people of Tucson are great animal lovers and will be ready to adopt .So the good folks make up for the bad . I want our world to be picture perfect, I am a dreamer.
